It's an essential part of my pre-shave prep. Then I rinse and lather up using a shaving soap or shaving cream and apply the lather to my wet beard. It really does make a difference in the quality of the shave.

My shave is just more comfortable and closer when I use it. Even when I'm in a bit of a hurry I take the time to scrub my face with this using a boar brush. Then rinse and lather up with soap or cream and shave.
