Bought this on recommendation from websites and from reviews here. So far so good. Nothing made me go "wow" after using it, but it does a good job and makes me feel nice and manly.
The scent is good, nice and rugged. The function seems on par for what I would expect. Leaves zero redness or irritation (something I was prone to with just about any other shave goop). Lathers up real nice. Also lasts a long time. I am probably 20 shaves into the tub and cannot even tell it has been used.
Can't go wrong.

I was using Colonel Conk's shaving soap before I purchased this product. Proraso is by far superior. It is thick, gives me a close shave, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I hope they will continue making this product for a very long time because I will be a returning customer.

I love the Truefitt & Hill cream, but it's pricey and I wondered if anything cheaper might suffice. This is a wonderful product - really smooth, good lather, long-lasting, it makes for a great shave at less than half of what I've paid for other products. Good stuff, good deal.

I was bit skeptical when looking for a shaving soap that my sensitive skin on my face could handle. When you use this one you actually feel it going to work on your skin. Also seems like the soap is easily absorbed by the hairs, making them easier to cut. Smells nice. Also seems that it will last a long time. The possibility to cover it, store it and travel with it makes it a plus as well. Definitely buy if you've tried other shaving soaps and have cut yourself a lot because of skin sensitivity.
