 Good Lowilla Replacement August 25, 2010

I had used Lowilla to clean my face since I was a teenager because I have dry skin. When I couldn't find Lowilla anymore, I asked a dermatologist to recommend a replacement after I couldn't find anything just right on my own. She gave me a sample of Vanicream (the cleansing bar), and it was just right. Cleans well and doesn't burn my nostrils!

I've tried many soaps for sensitive skin and find this product to be the best I've ever tried. After my first use, I was surprised how clean I felt - even at the end of the day. I also love the feel of my skin after I use it. I have very dry skin and live in the SW, causing my skin to be even drier. After cleaning with this soap, I didn't have to apply the layers of lotion I normally apply all day. I was pleasantly surprised. There is no fragrance, so if you need aroma therapy soap, this isn't for you. If you have sensitive skin and want to be clean and feel clean and help your skin to be less dry, this soap is for you.

My cousin's dermatologist recommended that she use this on her face because she has dry, sensitive, skin. I picked up a bar and couldn't be happier. I use it on my body and face and have had no irritation. This is the first product for "sensitive skin" that truly doesn't bother my face! Could NOT be happier!!!!

I get migraines triggered by perfume and not only is this soap fragrance free, but it is free of masking fragrances as well (the "Pharmaceutical Specialties" brand is known for that). I absolutely love this soap! It has a nice creamy, luxurious lather -- just wonderul to feel on your skin & it cleans the skin nicely!
I also use their shampoo & conditioner and they are terrific as well!

If you have allergic skin reactions, you may want to give this lotion a try, my wife switched over to Vanicream soap, lotion along with Free and Clear shampoo and conditioner, and now the majority of her skin irritations have gone away.
