 Long lasting great scent September 3, 2010

This is an excellent body wash. Not only is the scent great, it lasts an incredibly long time. I've taken showers in the late afternoon, gone to bed, and woken up with a faint scent of the body wash.

I have been using Gillette's excellent Gillette Body Wash, Hydrascrub & Power Beads 12 fl oz (354 ml) for years. My local store stopped carrying that product and replaced it with this, so I assumed that this was as good or better.
But no.
This product doesn't smell all that great out of the bottle, but it actually smells bad after a couple of hours. Disclaimer: I live in S. Florida, and it gets hotter than Hades here in the summer (actually , hell has less humidity) so that may factor in. I haven't had this problem with several other liquid soap products (Nivea, Dove for men, etc.) and I have to think that there's some ingredient in this that just doesn't work well in this environment.
One other major gripe: The old product had a clever package with the cap on the bottom. It was easy to open and easy to deal with when wet & slippery. It also let you get the last of the product out of the package without shaking or squeezing. Not so with this, which has the cap on the top. Amazon still has the old product in stock, so I can continue taking showers until I find a replacement, or until Amazon runs out.
