 Nowhere near as good as the canned Aveeno Shave Gel August 30, 2010

I've been using Aveeno Positively Shave Gel(in a can) for years now, and have found nothing else that compares to it. I've even tried some of the top-rated shaving soaps with a brush, and find that they are not as good as the shave gel. For the past few months though, I have been unable to find it anywhere. I decided to give this a try.
The first time I tried it, I lathered it up on my face and shaved. It was comparable to what I've experienced with other shaving creams and not satisfactory at all.
Next, I tried putting a little in my shaving cup and lathering it up with my brush. This produced results better than most shaving creams, but not as good as a real shaving soap.
If they just called this shower gel, I would not have tried it, because I already have products I prefer in that role. As for being a shaving cream, it is not satisfactory for me.
I did manage to find 4 cans of Aveeno Positively Smooth Shaving Gel a while back at a Safeway. I bought all four...

This is such an incredible product and it is so hard to find now. I went without using this for a month or so because I could not find it in the stores any longer and it made a significant difference in the amount I had to shave. I went from once a week to every other day when using other products. I am so happy I found this on Amazon and hope that Aveeno keeps producing the Positively Smooth products. You cannot get anything better than this for shaving. After getting this again and one shave I can already see a difference! Thank goodness I found it again.

Ever since I started using this product I love it. It does not help you shave less often as it suggests, however, I feel it does work much better than traditional shaving creams. It definitely leaves my legs feeling a lot smoother. I cannot find it in stores anymore so I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I also was able to get a great price for multiple bottles.

Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Smooth Shower & Shave Cream is great for both men and women! We received a sample from another Aveeno product recently but could not find it in stores. Amazon.com carried them in 10-oz bottles which were at a great price and wonderful for Father's Day gifts for all the men in our family!

This is shower soap not only smells wonderful but also works amazingly well as a shave gel. This version of Aveeno is not in most stores, so I bought plenty here on Amazon.
