Light grapefruit scent May 20, 2010

I've looked all over in the stores for this hand soap and finally found it online. It isn't quite the same as the original Method pink grapefruit handsoap because the scent is a little less grapefruity and a little more perfumey. I preferred the older scent but this one is still enjoyable, nice & light.

For some reason, citrus scents just smell cleaner. Usually you get lemon or lime scents; the grapefruit is novel. It has a strong enough scent to overwhelm anything. It cleans your hands and the color looks good in your kitchen/bathroom.

I love these Method hand soaps but this does not smell anything like Pink Grapefruit at all....prefer the Green Tea.

I saw method hand soaps written up in a women's magazine, and recommended by a doctor for use at every sink in the home! I bought some and loved it. I used these hand "gels" all last winter and found I needed to use less hand lotion for dryness. The Pink Grapefruit is my favorite.
I have started buying refills for the gel bottles because they are pricey. I also watch for sales at Target. Sometimes I bring them for hostess gifts...they are so pretty. I prefer the gels to the foamy dispensers.

While I do like this soap I was disappointed that at least to me it smells absolutely nothing like grapefruit, which was the whole reason why I ordered this product in the first place.
