Twelve paws across three adult and active german shepherd dogs. One modestly sized back yard. Three months of regular mid-west rain in the Spring. Mix well, and what you have would feel right at home from just about any alligator you might pull out of a Florida swamp.
Perhaps I'm embellishing, but if so it's not by much. We dread mud this time of year. We try to fight it off by keeping a canvas tarp on the floor by the back door, we keep reseeding hoping to restore as much grass and root as possible, and we have Soggy Dog Towels ready to go inside and out to clean the monkeys up as much as possible. While those are great for the bodies, they never quite addressed the issue of paws and pads. This glove does, however, and it does a remarkably fine job of breaking down mud, and absorbing liquids. It can handle all twelve paws even on the worst days, and even then we only have felt the need to run it through the washing machine once a week.
Could only be happier with it if we had three more.

We have 2 new, young, very active dogs who get very muddy. We bought one of these gloves and liked it so much we bought a second. It's great to keep by the backdoor for quick cleanups. The dogs sit and wait for their paws to be cleaned and it's much easier to use than a big towel. It absorbs a lot of mud and water and is very easy to rinse out, dry, and use again. It washes up very well in the washing machine too.

I've owned a couple of Spotless Paws for years and they are awesome. I have one on my back door for rainy/snowy days when my lab comes in the house and another in the car to dry her off after going to the lake or dog park. Her coat and paws gets really dirty but the glove cleans her so that she doesn't make a mess.

I have three of these gloves, one hanging by the doors the dogs come in, and one in the car (I have two large hounds). It's wonderful for those quick wipe-ups of dirty paws. I wipe one of the boy's paws with one side, then turn it around and wipe the other's. It seems to absorb a LOT of dirt, even mud, so it doesn't get loaded up very quickly, and doesn't require washing all that often. When you need to, just throw it in the machine and it comes out like new. It's held up very well - I've had mine for at about three years now. I highly recommend this glove.
